Overview

Kirloskar Self-priming pump is majorly used for dewatering applications. Self-priming 5 hp pump is widely used for Handling Chemicals, Effluents, Sewage, Ash-water, Dewatering Foundations, Trenches and Pits, Flood Water Handling, Pumping Water from Docks, Ports, Vessels, Dewatering from Basements, Multi-storeys, Shopping Malls, Godown, Cooling Water for Marine Engines and Shovels.

  • Self Priming - No need for foot valve and priming pumps every time for quicker operations
  • Non-Clog Impeller - Nonclog impeller to handle suspended soft solids up to 60 MM in size made it suitable for sewage and dewatering applications
  • Flatter Efficiency Curve - Minimum variations in efficiency during the entire operating range increase the utility of pump set for variable conditions
  • Designed to Prevent Overloading - Lesser chances of motor burning as it does not get overloaded even if the pump is operated at a head lower than recommended, thus ensuring substantial cost savings due to low maintenance and breakdown
  • Dynamically Balanced Rotating Parts - Minimum vibrations protect components from damage during operation, resulting in consistent performance as concentricity is maintained
